2048

2048 is an Android version of the awesome puzzle game developed in HTML5 by Gabriele Cirulli, where you have to move tiles from one side of a four-by-four grid to the other with the aim of getting the highest score. Sounds easy, right? Wrong.

Every time you move the tiles in one direction, a new one appears with the number value of two. When you join two tiles together with the same number, they join into a new tile with the combined value of both. So, if you combine two tiles with the value of 16, for example, you'll get a new tile with the number 32.

With this 'simple' gameplay, you'll have to try to get the highest score possible, which you can get by combining tiles until they have the value of 2048 (hence the name of the game). However, getting to that point is an achievement many players never attain.
